"I registered with BorrowMyDoggy after my dog Ben passed away last year. Ben was a 13 and a half year old Labrador and as he had gotten older I missed walks with him.

When he passed away, I thought it was about time I got another dog but I was concerned about working full time and not wanting to replace my best friend too quickly. I saw BorrowMyDoggy posted on Facebook and decided to give it a go. I signed up to the app and said I was an experienced dog owner and was just looking for some company on my walks around the area. Due to a shoulder injury I knew I couldn’t handle a big dog and finding Bonnie was just perfect. Bonnie has helped me walk and snuggle through my battle with depression. She’s such a sweet and loving little girl! Her owner is great and often lets me have her for full days!I can’t believe we have been each other’s walking companion for over a year now!"
