Opened in 1888 and named after Princess Alexandra, this charming park is a great way to spend an afternoon with your furry pal. The tree-lined avenues and formal layout give it a distinctly Victorian feel.

Alexandra park is known for possibly being one of the only parks in western Europe to have been divided by a wall, built as a “peace wall” to prevent violence between Nationalist/Republican and Unionist/Loyalist communities. This wall was built in 1994, and In 2011, a gate was created to link the two communities.
