Written by John Lennon and animal activist, Paul McCartney, the song has a section of audio made just for dogs. As McCartney explains: “We put a sound on Sergeant Pepper album that only dogs can hear. If you ever play Sergeant Pepper watch your dog."
This isn’t the only time that McCartney has had his pup on his mind when writing his music. The song, Martha, my dear was written about his beloved English Sheepdog of the same name.
